The Hyperion was developed as a variation of the MicroLine to solve a customer’s requirement for a shallower form factor. It grew in popularity to rival the MicroLine. With the discontinuation of ON Semi and Sony CCDs, supported sensors are limited to back-illuminated CCDs.
